Chamomile Tea Latte.
Hello, reader; thank you for stopping by to find out why I love this tea; first off. I am oh so thankful for all the feedback on my other posts!! I can’t say thank you enough for all the fantastic feedback from all of you. Thanks.
OK, on to the tea. I think I’m obsessed with this new tea I have come up with. Chamomile Tea Lattes are popular, but not this one. This tea is oh so good! Here is the recipe, and I will have a few benefits of the Chamomile Tea Latte. Enjoy.
Prep Time: 1 min
Cook Time: 5 mins
Steep Time: 20 mins
Total Time: 6 mins
This sleepy-time chamomile tea Latte has peppermint, and I never thought of having this in my cup of tea. But if you like peppermint tea as I do, then you’ll love this in your Chamomile Tea Latte. And during the holidays, this is the go-to flavor with any drink and pumpkin spice. Lol. Made with herbal teas for a soothing tea latte perfect for winding down a cold winter night by your fireplace and with a good book (Sci-Fi for me)
Ingredients for the cup of freshly brewed tea.
- 1/4 cup hot water
- One chamomile tea bag
- One peppermint tea bag
- 3/4 cup steamed milk of your choice
Instructions
- Place the tea bags in a mug with hot water. Let steep for 20 minutes before squeezing the liquid out of the tea bags back into the cup. Add the milk and serve immediately.
Tea Tip: I like using soy milk for this; although I have heard of using vanilla soy milk, I will have to try that out and let you know. But if you want a sweet tea, you can also use honey in this Latte.
If you’re into frothed milk, you can use a milk frother. You can also whisk the milk to give it some bubbles after you heat it.
Pour Into your favorite cup and enjoy the feeling of it being cold outside, but it’s nice and cozy right where you are.
Now on to the benefits of this tea.
1: Chamomile Helps you sleep well.
Chamomile has some unique properties that may benefit the quality of your sleep. It contains apigenin, an antioxidant that binds to specific receptors in your brain that may promote sleepiness and reduce insomnia or the chronic inability to sleep.
Another study found that people who consumed 270 mg of chamomile extract twice daily for 28 days had 1/3 less nighttime awakening and fell asleep 15 minutes faster than those who did not drink the section.
These findings are promising, but more studies are necessary to determine the extent of chamomile tea on sleep. Nevertheless, drinking chamomile tea before bed is worth trying if you have trouble falling or staying asleep.
Chamomile contains antioxidants that may promote sleepiness, and drinking chamomile tea has been shown to improve overall sleep quality.
So this tea is good for you to fall asleep… Hmm, it might be your next tea to try before your bedtime.
2. May Promote Digestive Health
OK, now, this is something I had no idea about. This is the most important thing to know.
Proper digestion is essential for your overall health.
Limited evidence suggests chamomile may be effective for promoting better digestion by reducing the risk of certain gastrointestinal conditions.
A few studies have found that chamomile extract has the potential to protect against diarrhea in mice. This is attributed to its anti-inflammatory properties.
Despite these findings, more human research is needed to confirm chamomile’s role in indigestion.
Nevertheless, many anecdotal claims are that drinking chamomile tea is soothing to the stomach. Traditionally, it has been used to treat several digestive ailments, including nausea and gas.
Chamomile Tea Latte Is the best drink because the weather is just too nippy for you. So grab your tea kettle and make some of this tea right now and curl up with a good book and enjoy.
But, before you go off and make this. Here is another thing you can check out while enjoying your tea.

The first one is the Yerba Mate Tea,
And the second tea is Gunpowder Tea, and it just so happens that My dear Brother gave me a sample pack from a tea company, including the gunpowder.
