Loose Leaf Assam Tea

Loose Leaf Assam Tea is a black tea that’s one of the most well-known teas in the world. This tea’s a great choice for every day even drinking this tea is great for breakfast.

Here are the benefits of this tea. Top 3, I love the third benefit. but just read through them and read them carefully so you understand why this tea is great for those with these health conditions.

1. PROMOTES OVERALL HEALTH

There is unanimous agreement among researchers that taking a diet rich in antioxidants can help us live longer and healthier lives Thus, drinking tea that is a natural source of antioxidants is your route to happiness.

Regular intake of tea polyphenols may protect cells from damage and reduce inflammation. Tea consumption may also boost the immune system and play an important role in disease prevention. Hence, tea can protect your cell tissues from damage and premature aging.

Polyphenols also help to detox and improve the antioxidant status of the body. Therefore, drinking tea can reduce the risk of diseases related to oxidative stress such as mental imbalance, disturbances, anxiety disorder, depression, Parkinson’s disease,  Alzheimer’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, etc.

In simple words, incorporating tea into one’s diet is an efficient way to prevent several chronic disorders and to maintain overall health.

2. REGULATES HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE

Hypertension or high blood pressure (BP) can also result in other cardiovascular health complications such as heart failure, heart attack, stroke. Hence, many scientists have studied the link between tea and high BP.

For this reason, Assam black tea consumption can help mitigate high BP and eventually reduce the risk of cardiovascular mortality.

3. ENHANCES MENTAL ALERTNESS

Tea is food for the brain as it contains a special amino acid, i.e., L-theanine that has anti-anxiolytic properties. L-theanine can boost alpha waves in our brain when taken along with caffeine and EGCG.

Enhanced alpha waves can improve cognitive ability, increase mental clarity, induce alertness, and enhance mood. Moreover, it can encourage relaxation without inducing drowsiness.

Since Loose Leaf Assam Tea is a stronger tea, one can stay alert for a relatively extended period of time even without sleep. However, limit your tea intake to fewer than 5 cups of tea per day to prevent caffeine overdose.

But the question is, can tea also enhance our creative abilities? .Next time if you experience a creativity block, try brewing a nice cup of tea for inspiration.

Whoever came up with this tea is such a Genius!! I have never heard of this tea before I studied about it and now writing this, I think I will make this soon.

Loose Leaf Assam Tea Recipe.

STEP 1: Boil water.

Since tea is made with just water and tea leaves, use good quality water. Use tap water if possible.

I recommend using an electric kettle with a temperature setting so you can be more accurate with the water temperature. Set it to 208°F.

Boil some extra water to warm up the teapot.

STEP 2: Warm up the teapot. Pour a little freshly boiled water into the teapot. Swirl it around and then throw the water out. I always include this step when I’m trying to brew tea properly. If you don’t warm up the teapot, there will be a big temperature drop while brewing the tea.

STEP 3: Put Assam tea into a teapot and add hot water. Tea Sommelier’s Tip: To make the tea stronger, always add more tea instead of brewing it for longer. A longer brew time will only make your tea bitter, not stronger.

STEP 4: Cover teapot and steep for 5 minutes. Make sure to keep the top securely on the teapot to make sure the tea stays hot.

STEP 5: Strain The Loose Leaf Tea Assam leaves and pours hot tea into a teacup. To sweeten your tea, add sugar, honey, or date syrup.

Assam tea is perfect for adding milk to since it balances out the astringency and enhances its sweetness.
