Green Tea.
Green Tea is made from the leaves of Camellia sinensis plants. Black Tea is made from the same plant, but after the leaves are harvested, they undergo oxidation before being dried and processed into Tea.
Green Tea has been used for centuries to help boost energy levels and improve overall health. The antioxidants in green tea help fight free radicals, which cause cell damage and contribute to aging.
In addition, drinking green Tea helps reduce cholesterol and blood pressure and may even help prevent cancer.
Black Tea.
Black Tea has more caffeine than green Tea, while green Tea contains less caffeine.
Both teas contain antioxidants called polyphenols, which help protect against cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
The best thing about black Tea is that it doesn’t require steeping. You pour hot water over the leaves and steep them until their desired strength is reached. If you want to add flavor, you can use honey, milk, or sugar.
Oolong Tea.
Oolong tea is made by steaming leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. It’s also known as “black dragon” tea because its color resembles that of a black dragon. Oolong tea is often used to make herbal medicines.
The most popular type of oolong tea is called Wuyi oolong tea. It comes from the Wuyi region of China, where it has been produced since the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). Wuyi oolongs are prized for their floral aroma and deep flavor.
Another type of oolong is called Tieguanyin, which means “drinking under the moon.”
It is named after the town of Tieguang in Guangxi Province, China. Tieguanyin is a light green tea that is harvested during the springtime.
Herbal Teas.
Herbal teas are fourth on this list because they are so good and good for you.
There are several varieties of herbal teas available today. These include chamomile, peppermint, ginger, lemon balm, and others.
They are often used as an alternative to coffee or other caffeinated beverages.
Herbal Tea has been around since ancient times. The Chinese used herbs such as ginseng, licorice root, and cinnamon bark to treat illnesses long before the Europeans discovered them.
Today, herbal Tea is still popular because it provides many health benefits. For example, it helps reduce stress and anxiety, improves digestion, and boosts energy levels.
Fruit Teas.
These four types of fruit tea have been used for centuries as an effective remedy for various ailments. Learn more about their history and benefits!
The word “tea” comes from the Chinese word for water, which makes sense because these beverages are made by steeping dried fruits in hot water. They’re often served chilled and sometimes sweetened.
Blackberry Tea.
Blackberries are one of the oldest cultivated berries in North America. Native Americans were using blackberries as food and medicine thousands of years ago.
Today, blackberries are still famous for their delicious flavor and nutritional value.
Blackberries are high in antioxidants, fiber, vitamin C, potassium, and manganese.
The best thing about blackberries? You can drink them straight from the berry. Just wash them, remove the stems, and pop them into hot water.
Let them steep until cool enough to enjoy. If you want extra flavor, try adding a few slices of ginger root or cinnamon sticks to your Tea.
Blueberry Tea.
There are several different ways to make blueberry tea. You can use fresh or frozen blueberries or even dried ones. If you choose new or frozen berries, add them to boiling water and let them simmer until soft.
Once cooked, strain out the liquid and discard the solids. If you decide to use dried berries, soak them overnight in hot water. Then drain and rinse before adding to boiling water.
Let the mixture cook for 5 minutes, then remove from heat and allow to cool. Strain out the liquid and discard any remaining solids.
The best thing about making fruit tea? It’s easy! Just throw some fruit into a pot of boiling water and let it simmer until softened. That’s it!
No measuring, no fancy equipment, and no unique ingredients are required.
And if you want to get creative, try using other fruits such as strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, peaches, apples, pears, oranges, or bananas.
Cranberry Tea.
Cranberry tea has also been used for hundreds of years as a natural remedy for colds and flu. It contains high vitamin C and antioxidants, which help boost immunity and fight off viruses.
The best thing about cranberry tea is that it doesn’t require boiling water.
Add one cup of fresh cranberries to two cups of hot water, cover, and let steep for 10 minutes. Strain out the berries before drinking. If you want to sweeten the drink, add honey or sugar.
Strawberry Tea.
Strawberries contain a lot of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. They also have anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce swelling and ease pain.
The best thing about strawberry tea? You can drink it hot or cold. If you want to enjoy some delicious strawberry tea while relaxing at home, place two cups of fresh strawberries into a blender with one cup of boiling water.
Blend until smooth, then strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer. Serve immediately, or refrigerate until chilled.
