Without our immune system, we would have no way to fight the harmful things that could enter our body from the outside and cause harmful changes in our bodies. The main task of the body’s immune system is

  • Our Immune system helps fight off disease-causing germs such as bacteria, viruses, parasites, or fungi, and our immune system helps get those nasty things out of our bodies. 
  • Our immune system recognizes and neutralizes harmful substances from the environment.

How is the immune system activated?

The immune system can be activated by different things the body doesn’t recognize as its own. When these attach to special receptors on the immune cells (immune system cells), a whole series of processes are triggered in the body.

It is a morning ritual for me to wake up and grab a cup of hot coffee before I begin my day. But what if we grabbed a cup of tea instead?  

For most of us, it’s impossible to do much first thing in the Morning without our cup of tea. There’s just something so about tea that adds the “Good” to your “Morning.” Most teas boost your immune system and give you the energy to face the day ahead.

There are varieties of teas you can choose from; Whether you need a heavy caffeine fix or a hint of flavor, there is always tea available.

However, the variety of tea isn’t just for show. You could add many teas to your morning rituals, which can help boost your immunity.

Here are some teas to try

1. Green Tea

Many Varieties of green tea have been consumed for centuries for their beneficial properties. Green Teas is high in antioxidants called Polyphenols.  

These polyphenols are efficient for fighting off infections. They protect the body against potential viruses, conditions, and even sickness. 

 And chamomile tea is known to boost the body’s immune system by helping your body and mind de-stress.

This tea helps promote the growth of white blood cells, one of your body’s most significant infection fighters. Green tea blended Ginger helps keep diseases like asthma, lung infection, cough, etc., at bay. At the same time, flavors such as Ashwagandha and Stinging Nettle impede the growth of cancer cells in the body and may stimulate the lymphatic system.

2. Oolong Tea

Oolong teas have an enticing and sweet aroma that is perfect for any morning. It is high in caffeine than green or white tea, which is best to kick start your day and energize your body without letting it crash.

4. Black Tea

Also known as ‘Red Tea,’ this is the most famous tea out of all categories. Primarily consumed in the mornings, black tea is rich in antioxidants such as polyphenols, catechins, and even flavonoids that help remove free radicals from the body to keep the body healthy and toxin-free.

One big difference between black tea and the other teas on this list is that it contains minerals such as Potassium and Manganese, which help boost your immune system. 

The tannins in black teas give it its characteristic earthy taste and help fight against the flu, dysentery, and even hepatitis; it also contains alkaline antigens, which help boost immune response.

Flavors like Peppermint have traces of calcium, vitamin B, and potassium along with other antioxidants, which help your body absorb nutrients better and fight illnesses. Not only this, a cup of black tea in the Morning is the best way to kick your morning grogginess 

Even if it’s summer, your bodies become vulnerable to ailments like cold, cough, flu, and gastroenteritis. Even when it’s not wintertime, If you go out places For me, it’s Karate classes. That means I could get a cold or flu from being around everyone in the dojo.
